If your voice coil is burned, you do not immediately have to repair the speaker with an expensive recone kit. Often, rewinding the voice coil is cheaper than reconing. For rewinding the voice coil, I use heat-resistant copper wire. This is identical to the original voice coil so that the parameters remain unchanged and you can enjoy a perfect sound.
